Here’s what to look for in Safford apartments.
Safford, Arizona is located in the southeastern portion of the state, and is directly next to Thatcher, Arizona, the home of Eastern Arizona College. Since it’s so close to EAC, the majority of people living in apartments in the city are college students, although there are some others as well. The town isn’t large, with about 10,000 people according to the latest census data, and so there are only a dozen or so apartment buildings in the city for prospective tenants to choose from. Still, there are enough options for people to have choices, and that means they should go into their apartment search in Safford with a plan.
When you’re looking for apartments in Safford, there are a few things you should be looking for. For one thing, you have to make sure that the apartments come with air conditioning. This is Arizona after all, and the temperatures in the summer are going to regularly exceed 100 degrees. Some people in places like Houston or Miami might scoff at those temperatures and say, “Yeah, but it’s not humid,” but that doesn’t really matter. Once the temperature gets over 100, it’s hot. It doesn’t matter if the humidity is zero. Therefore, if you want to stay safe during the summer and if you want to be able to concentrate while you’re sitting in your apartment trying to finish your homework, you need to make sure it’s got air conditioning. This is an absolute must.
Another thing to look for in Safford apartments is that they’re centrally located. We already talked about the fact that Safford isn’t that big, but if you’re a student at EAC, it’s still nice to find an apartment that’s relatively close. If possible, you’d probably like to choose an apartment that’s close enough to walk to campus when it’s not too hot out, and such apartments do exist. You’ll also need to consider how close your apartment is to the grocery store and other amenities. Even in a city the size of Safford, location is still important, and it’s certainly one of the things you should be considering when you’re trying to select an apartment in the town.
As with any major decision, you’ll also want to look for apartments that are reasonably priced. The more money you’re able to save on your rent each month, the more money you’ll have to do the things you like to do. Of course, you also want to choose an apartment that you’re going to like living in, but you should be able to both choose a quality apartment and not break the bank paying your rent each month. Compare the amenities offered by each complex with their overall cost and their location, and then make the decision that’s best for you.
As was mentioned before, there are a few different apartment complexes in Safford to choose from, but the one you should be considering first is The Revival at Thatcher. They offer a long list of great amenities (including air conditioning), they’re conveniently located near the campus of Eastern Arizona College, and their monthly rents are reasonable.
